The Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Materials Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to participate in hands-on research in the field of materials science. This program is designed to immerse students in a research environment, where they can contribute to ongoing research projects, develop technical skills, and gain valuable experience in scientific inquiry and problem-solving.
Who can apply
- Have completed their sophomore or junior
- year of college.
- Students are undergraduates who have a strong desire to complete a Ph.D.
- Have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0
- scale.
- Is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- enrolled in an accredited college or university.
