The FRIAS Early Career Fellowship Programme is designed to support young researchers from all over the world by providing them with the opportunity to conduct their research projects at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). The fellowship includes a full-time employment contract with the University of Freiburg and is intended to foster academic exchange and innovative research across disciplines and cultures.
Who can apply
- Applicants must hold a PhD.
- Researchers with up to eight years of post-doctoral experience are eligible.
- Demonstrated research excellence and potential for significant contributions to their field.
- Experimental scientists need to identify a host laboratory at the University of Freiburg.
- PhD + max 8 years postdoc; 4 publications since January 1, 2021; 6 months international experience; all nationalities & disciplines
