Waseda University International Scholarship

The Waseda University Partial Tuition-Waiver Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students provides financial relief by reducing yearly tuition fees (up to half) for eligible privately financed international students. It targets students with excellent academic records who face economic difficulties in pursuing education at Waseda University. The scholarship is administered through the university's Center for International Education and is part of a suite of support programs for international students.

About 250 recipients are selected annually, with tuition waiver applied from the fall term for 1 year. Applications are handled through undergraduate/graduate school offices, with details announced via bulletin boards. Note that contents and periods are subject to change. This scholarship cannot be combined with certain other awards.
