The President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is designed to support international students enrolling in graduate programs at the University of Winnipeg. It recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, academic excellence, and an ability to contribute positively to the community. The scholarship aims to encourage global perspectives and foster leaders capable of driving meaningful change in their respective fields and communities.
Who can apply
- Be an international student entering a University of Winnipeg graduate program for the first time
- Have a minimum 80% admission average or equivalent
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities
- Qualifying-year and Pre-Masters students do not qualify
- Submit a complete admission application by the scholarship deadline date
- Apply through the Awards Office, submitting a completed application form, a 250-500 word personal statement, a CV, and two references
