The Queen's University International Awards, known as the Dean's International Award Program, is a merit-based scholarship automatically awarded to high-achieving international undergraduate students entering their first year at Queen's University in eligible faculties including Arts and Science, Engineering and Applied Science, Smith School of Business (Commerce), and Health Sciences. Awards range from $10,000 to $25,000 per year, renewable for up to four years (total $40,000 to $100,000), provided students maintain full-time enrollment and meet GPA requirements.
This program covers partial tuition fees for international students paying international rates (excluding some US students). No separate application is required; consideration is based on admission application and academic record. It supports outstanding scholars from around the world pursuing undergraduate studies at Queen's Kingston campus.
Who can apply
- International students entering first-year full-time undergraduate programs in Arts & Science, Engineering, Commerce (BCom), or Health Sciences (BHSc)
- High academic achievement (automatic selection based on grades)
- Paying international tuition fees (not domestic or US fee rates)
- Renewable with full-time status and minimum GPA
- No separate application needed
