The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is offered by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the National Institute for International Education (NIIED). It provides four scholarships for study or research at the Master's or PhD level in Korean studies, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and other fields of study. The program aims to support international students studying in South Korea and has provided scholarships to 6,556 students from 148 nations since 1967.
Who can apply
- Applicants must choose a field of study included in the list of eligible universities designated by NIIED.
