The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a fully-funded overseas summer language and cultural immersion for US students, teaching languages considered critical to US engagement and national security.
Who can apply
- US citizen or national at the time of application
- At least 18 years old by the program start
- Enrolled in an accredited US degree-granting program (undergraduate or graduate)
- Undergraduates must have completed at least one full year of study before the program
