The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) at West Virginia University (WVU) offers undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in research activities across various fields of study. Participants work closely with faculty mentors on research projects, attend workshops, and present their findings at the end of the program. SURE aims to provide students with hands-on research experience, enhancing their academic and professional development.
Who can apply
- Undergraduates enrolled at a West Virginia higher education institution, or a West Virginia state resident enrolled at an out-of-state college or university
- College sophomores, juniors, or seniors as of the fall semester following the program (graduating on or after December of that year)
