Who can apply
- Current undergraduate students who have completed two or three years (rising juniors or seniors) at a U.S. college or university at the time the SURF program begins.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Serious consideration of a biomedical research career as a Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D.
- International students attending a U.S. college or university as full-time students are eligible to apply.
