The Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy at LMU Campus Großhadern houses the research group Pharmacology for Natural Sciences (the Biel Lab), which focuses on developing human retinal organoids to evaluate gene therapy approaches for treating retinitis pigmentosa, among other pharmacology research.
Who can apply
- Applicants must be students in Bachelor's or Master's programs in Life Sciences or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques is required, and experience with cell culture and immunohistological staining is preferred.
