STAR provides opportunities for students to develop skills as young scientists and explore biomedical research interests. Participants engage in a 9-week program where they actively participate in research projects under faculty guidance and attend workshops, discussion groups, and laboratory demonstrations.
Who can apply
- 18 years or older by the start of the session
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with completion of at least freshman year
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
