The Transfer Excellence Scholarship is designed to recognize and support outstanding students transferring to the University of Houston from other institutions. This scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, particularly for students who have demonstrated a strong academic record at their previous institution(s). The scholarship provides financial assistance to help cover tuition and related expenses, making it easier for students to continue their education at UH.
Who can apply
- Must be admitted as an undergraduate student to the University of Houston for the fall term.
- Must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester at the University of Houston (central campus).
- Must have 48 or more transferable hours from a regionally accredited U.S. institution.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0-point scale).
- No separate scholarship application is required.
