The George W. Jenkins Scholarship, generously funded by Publix Super Markets Charities, is awarded to a select group of incoming first-year students who have demonstrated academic merit, significant financial need, and have overcome substantial adversity. Recipients, known as Jenkins Scholars, receive substantial financial support, potentially covering the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing, and various expenses. Scholars are required to enroll full-time and reside on the Tampa campus for their first two years at USF.
Who can apply
- Graduating from a Florida high school.
- Official Florida resident and U.S. citizen.
- Demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA results.
- Have overcome significant obstacles in life.
- Commitment to enroll full-time at the USF Tampa campus.
