The France-South Africa Scholarship is a prestigious award offered to students who wish to pursue higher education in France. The scholarship is funded by the French Embassy in South Africa and aims to promote academic and cultural exchange between France and South Africa. It supports students pursuing Master's and PhD degrees, open to all fields of study, with priority given to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, including related humanities and social sciences disciplines.
Who can apply
- You must be a citizen of South Africa, Lesotho or Malawi (dual French citizens are not eligible).
- You must have been born on or after 1 January 1997.
- You must have achieved a minimum average of 60% in your most recently completed qualification.
- You must intend on studying towards a Master's degree or PhD in France.
- You must intend on starting your studies in September 2027.
