The American-Scandinavian Foundation offers long-term fellowships (4-12 months, up to $23,000) and short-term grants (1-3 months, up to $5,000) to American graduate students (preferably dissertation-related research) and academic professionals pursuing research or creative-arts projects in the Nordic region -- Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Sapmi. Awards are given across all fields of study.
Who can apply
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Completed a Bachelor's degree.
- Pursuing research, study, or a creative-arts project in one or more Nordic countries.
