The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellowship is a fully supported entrepreneurship-development scholarship for high-potential South African school-leavers entering university. It combines financial support with structured training designed to develop what the Foundation calls "entrepreneurs of consequence."
Who can apply
- South African citizen
- Minimum 60% in Pure Mathematics or 80% in Mathematical Literacy (final Grade 11)
- Minimum 70% average in final Grade 11 (excluding Life Orientation)
- Under 21 generally; no older than 22 for the first-year cohort
- Intend to study an eligible degree (Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Humanities, Arts, or Health Science — excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science, and Dentistry)
