The A*STAR Graduate Scholarship (formerly known publicly as SINGA, the Singapore International Graduate Award) funds PhD study for outstanding international and Singaporean students, supporting doctoral research across A*STAR's research institutes and partner universities in Singapore. It sits alongside A*STAR's other scholarship tracks -- the National Science Scholarship (PhD and BS-PhD, for Singaporeans) and the A*STAR International Fellowship (Research and Innovation tracks) -- all administered through the same A*STAR Graduate Academy portal.
Who can apply
- International or Singaporean students holding (or completing) a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant science/engineering field.
- Applying for full-time PhD study at an A*STAR research institute or partner university in Singapore.
