The Villanova Social Science Apprenticeship (VSSA) program provides summer research opportunities for undergraduate students interested in the social sciences. Students assist in faculty research projects and participate in a weekly research colloquium designed to help them contextualize their research experiences. The program aims to support and create a community for undergraduate students involved in faculty research during the summer, serving as a bridge between the First-Year Match program and the more advanced VURF program.
Who can apply
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- Rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors at Villanova University
- Interested in social science research
- Available for the full duration of the summer program
