Hebrew University Summer Science Research Program

The Hebrew University Summer Science Internship Program, hosted by the Rothberg International School, provides senior undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on research experience in state-of-the-art laboratories across a wide range of scientific disciplines. Participants work 40 hours per week under the direct supervision of leading Hebrew University scientists in fields such as molecular biology, neurogenetics, computational genetics, genomics, bioengineering, ecology, climate dynamics, psychology, medicine, physics, bioorganic chemistry, and joint/skeletal growth diseases. The program typically lasts four weeks during June to August, with possible extensions up to eight weeks upon supervisor approval, and culminates in a final research paper or lab report. Students earn 4 academic credits and gain an international perspective on scientific research while immersed in Jerusalem's vibrant academic environment.
